Conception Of HYELLA EMR

The first concept of HYELLA EMR emerged in 2016 as healthcare professionals, including Abubakar Adamu of Datz Synergy, who helped highlight the growing need for a comprehensive Electronic Medical Record solution. Prior to this, HYELLA had already developed Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions comprising Accounting, Financial Management, and Management Information Systems, built upon frameworks and ideas developed by Patrick Ogbuitepu over several years.

The vision was further strengthened through the business insight of Mayowa Ipinyomi, early legal support from Flora Ngo-martins, and the encouragement and backing of Patrick Obasi and the Obasi family during HYELLA's formative years.

The First EMR Deployment

Having consulted many medical specialists and gathered extensive requirements, HYELLA took its first major stride by approaching Dr. Collins of Vine Clinic Fertility Centre, Abuja, and successfully deploying its first EMR solution.

This deployment marked the evolution of HYELLA from a business management platform into a healthcare technology solution, combining clinical workflows with the accounting, inventory, and management capabilities already developed over previous years. The project also laid the foundation for the growth of the HYELLA team, with Nathan becoming the company's first staff member as the platform continued to evolve.

Standardization Of HYELLA

The major milestone in HYELLAs history trail was the standardization of the Electronic Health Record solution. After working with prominent clients such as NISA premier hospital, we discovered the major challenges hospitals face and how an integrated Health Management Information System aids all clinical and non-clinical processes.
